Job Description
A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water supply systems, and other public works. Civil Engineers ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare construction plans, drawings, and project designs.
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities.
Estimate project costs, materials, and labor requirements.
Ensure construction work complies with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients.
Monitor project progress and prepare status reports.
Review technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
Supervise workers and resolve site-related issues.
Perform quality checks on construction materials and completed work.
Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university.
Freshers or experienced candidates are eligible.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Office, and other engineering software is preferred.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of construction standards and safety regulations.
Age
21 to 35 years (may vary depending on the organization).
Salary
₹20,000 to ₹60,000 per month for freshers.
Experienced Civil Engineers may earn higher salaries based on skills, experience, and organization.
