Job Description
A Welder / Technician is responsible for welding, fabricating, assembling, repairing, and maintaining metal structures, machinery, and equipment. They use various welding techniques and tools to ensure high-quality workmanship while following safety standards and technical specifications.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform welding using Arc, MIG, TIG, and Gas welding techniques.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
Inspect welded joints for strength and quality.
Operate and maintain welding machines and tools.
Repair damaged metal structures and equipment.
Follow workplace safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
Perform routine maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Maintain accurate work records and reports.
Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks.
Eligibility
ITI in Welder, Fitter, Fabrication, Mechanical, or a related trade.
Diploma candidates with relevant technical skills may also apply.
Freshers and experienced candidates are eligible.
Basic knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication.
Ability to read technical drawings is preferred.
Age
18 to 35 years (may vary depending on the organization).
Salary
₹18,000 to ₹40,000 per month.
