Job Description
A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining construction and infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, water supply systems, and drainage networks. They ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare construction plans, designs, and technical drawings.
Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities.
Estimate project costs, materials, and labor requirements.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients.
Review blueprints, technical specifications, and project documents.
Inspect construction materials and completed work for quality.
Prepare project reports and maintain site documentation.
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Freshers and experienced candidates are eligible.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Office, and other engineering software is preferred.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of construction standards and safety regulations.
Age
21 to 35 years (may vary depending on the organization).
Salary
₹20,000 to ₹60,000 per month.
