Farmers across Nizamabad district have begun preparing their agricultural fields for the Kharif cropping season following the onset of monsoon rains. Activities such as ploughing, leveling of land, and soil preparation are underway in several mandals to facilitate timely sowing and transplantation of crops.
The recent rainfall has improved soil moisture conditions, enabling farmers to start cultivation activities with renewed confidence. Agriculture Department officials are encouraging farmers to adopt scientific farming methods, use certified seeds, and follow soil health recommendations to enhance productivity.
