Ekachakreshwara temple
Ekachakreshwara Temple is one of the most revered ancient Shiva temples located in Bodhan town of Nizamabad district, Telangana. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple holds immense historical, religious, and cultural significance. It is closely associated with the ancient name of Bodhan, known as Ekachakrapuram, which is linked to legends from the Mahabharata. According to local tradition, the Pandavas stayed in this region during their exile, and Bhima defeated the demon Bakasura near Bodhan.
