Sri Limbadri Gutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devastanams

Sri Limbadri Gutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devastanams is one of the most famous pilgrimage destinations in Nizamabad district, located near Bheemgal. The temple is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is situated on the sacred hill known as Nimbachalam or Limbadri Gutta.

According to temple history and local traditions, the hill is associated with the penance performed by Prahlada and Lord Brahma. It is believed that Lord Narasimha manifested here to bless devotees and agreed to reside on the sacred hill. The temple is renowned for its cave shrine and its serene natural surroundings filled with neem trees, from which the name Nimbachalam is derived.

A unique feature of this temple is the worship of the Swayambhu Nara-Narayana deities, making it one of the rare temples in India with this distinction. Due to this significance, the shrine is often referred to as “Dakshina Badrinath.”

The temple attracts thousands of devotees during Narasimha Jayanti, Brahmotsavam, Vasantotsavam, and other religious festivals. The peaceful atmosphere, scenic hilltop location, and spiritual importance make Limbadri Gutta one of the most visited temples in the region.
